Managing Your Information

When you’re signed into your Nintendo Account, you can review, update, or delete your information. You can also submit a request for a copy of your information, ask us to update certain information on your behalf, or ask us to permanently delete all the information we hold about you. Instructions on how to do these things are below. If you do not have a Nintendo Account, and you would like to submit a request, please contact us by telephone at 1-855-822-9548. Either way, we will provide a response within 45 days, if possible. If we need more time, we will notify you. Please note that you will need to verify your identity when making any of these requests. If we need additional information to verify your identity, we will contact you to request that information. If we are unable to process your request, we will explain why in our response.

Ad Settings

For our Animal CrossingNintendo New York store, and Zelda websites, you must adjust your cookie preferences individually, on each of these sites, by scrolling to the bottom of the page and selecting ‘Cookie Preferences.’ From there, you can adjust your cookie preferences for that website. Also, some of our pages display cookie banners and if you would like to opt-out of cookies used on those pages, please refer to the opt-out instructions provided on the banner.

To opt-out of non-essential analytics cookies that are used on your device (e.g., Nintendo Switch), please refer to the opt-out instructions that can be found by logging into the Nintendo eShop on your device and scrolling to the bottom of the ‘Account Information’ section. If you would like to opt-out from the collection of cookies and other data in our mobile apps, please follow the opt-out instructions in each mobile app’s settings.


We collect information about your use of and interaction with our services, including the Nintendo Account service, to perform various analytics. The analytics information we collect includes play reports, crash and error reports, your survey responses and similar usage information. This analytics information is used to optimize our existing services, develop new services, provide you with enhanced functionality and personalization, tailor content, products, and services to your preferences, and to make recommendations to you.
